Interestingly, this kit was first used from WC 2003 till January 04. Then for the Indiaseries in March, the kit below was introduced.Then During Asia Cup, this kit was reusedtill the ICC Champions Trophy.

Year 2000 was important as it was the last year that saw ODI cricket being played in White flannels. Since 1979 till 2000, some ODI cricket was in Whites while others in coloured clothing due to flood lights use, marketing and other reasons. Secondly, a red ball was used with White flannels while a white ball was used will coloured clothing
